The caring veterinarians and staff at Chisholm Trail Veterinary Clinic understand how hard it is to lose a beloved companion. When your dog or cat reaches the end of a long life, becomes fatally ill, or suffers a life-threatening injury, we do everything humanly possible to make sure your pet’s last days are as comfortable and as pain free as possible.
When your pet is at the end of his or her life, our veterinarians counsel you about what to expect during your animal’s last days based upon your pet’s individual condition. Rest assured that we provide the most up-to-date pain medication to relieve any discomfort your pet might have.
Should the need arise, we offer compassionate euthanasia. While our veterinarians perform this procedure, you’re welcome to stay with and even hold your pet if you prefer. End-of-life pet care is provided onsite at Chisholm Trail Veterinary Clinic and home euthanasia is an option.
When the time comes, we offer a variety of cremation options to meet your needs. For more information about Chisholm Trail Veterinary Clinic’s end-of-life pet care and cremation services, contact our understanding and compassionate staff.
