Chisholm Trail Veterinary Clinic of Lockhart

In-House Veterinary Laboratory

for Advanced Diagnostic Services

Our veterinarians’ most important diagnostic tool is the annual physical examination of your pet. At Chisholm Trail Veterinary Clinic, a complete wellness exam includes looking at your dog or cat from head to tail. Our veterinarians examine your pet’s:

  • Eyes, ears, and mouth
  • Heart, lungs, and abdomen
  • Joints for swelling or arthritis
  • Skin for lesions and parasites
  • And everything in between! There is a lot of valuable information our veterinarians obtain from a simple exam.

In addition to your pet’s annual wellness exam, we recommend annual screenings, including lab work. If your pet is seven years of age or older, we recommend a senior pet screening. Call 512-620-0111 to schedule your pet’s examination today.

  • Intestinal parasite fecal screens
  • Blood gas analysis
  • Complete blood count (CBC)

  • And more!

The results of these tests help our veterinarians determine how well your pet’s liver, kidneys, and other organs are functioning.
